We currently do not have a hired trainer or riding coach. Clients are all free to bring in their choice of instructor, as long as barn rules are all applied (as in arena usage time, one hour maximum per user).

About Heather:
I am 21 years old and have a diploma in Agriculture with equine studies from Kemptville College in Ontario. I have been riding for 18 years and have competed sucessfully in both English and Western. I have trained and competed horses in Hunters, Jumpers, Dressage, Equitation, Pleasure, and the Hack classes in the English discipline, and Horsemanship, Trail, Pleasure, Reining, Riding Pattern, and Showmanship in the Western discipline.
I am a great believer in bringing students to understand the reasoning behind an action as I find this leads to an aptitude to properly carry out the action. I also take the same approach in my training methods. I have worked with many different types of horses that have come from many different walks of life, from abuse cases to horses that just don't understand what we expect from them to young and unstarted horses. I am small enough that I can ride most ponies but strong enough that I can handle the bigger horses.
Fees:
LESSONS:
Semi-private - $20/hour
Private - $30/hour
TRAINING:
To start I will charge $20 a ride, but I will negotiate prices as the horse's training progresses.
